Rochester Neuropsychology

Colleen Saar, Ph.D.

Comprehensive neuropsychological testing is typically done over multiple sessions. Areas evaluated are: cognition, memory and learning, attention, executive functioning, language, visual spatial processing, sensorimotor skills, and emotional functioning.  A flexible approach is utilized and the assessment battery and process are tailored toward each patient's individual needs. Following completion of the evaluation, a feedback session is held in which all of the results and recommendations are reviewed.  A detailed written report is then generated.

Dr. Saar also works closely with referring physicians and patients and their families to ensure that necessary services and interventions are implemented.
